For days, the Democratic Party has been denouncing that the construction of the Xhon Belushi road has started without announcing the winner of the tender, accusing the mayor Erion Veliaj of theft.

Veliaj, reacted today while inspecting the works that have been done so far in the 5 Maji neighborhood where he says that about 150 apartments for families are ready.

The head of the municipality of Tirana has appealed to the residents to have faith, because whoever blocks the projects has never seen the light.

"Asphalt is neither socialist nor democratic. When it is paved, it makes everyone happy, the value of the property increases", said Veliaj.

 “Thirrja për banorët është: Kini besim! Bashkëpunoni me skuadrën tonë që po shërben, disa në ndërtim, disa te njësia, disa duke bërë supervizimin dhe inxhinierinë, sepse vetëm kur bashkëpunojmë mund të ecim përpara.
