The appointment of Genti Shala as a judge in the Supreme Court is decreed

President Bajram Begaj has today decreed the appointment of Genti Shala as a judge of the Supreme Court. The decree enters into force immediately.

DECREE:

In accordance with Article 93, Article 136, points 1 and 2 of the Constitution of the Republic of Albania, as well as Article 48, point 13 of Law No. 96/2016, “On the Status of Judges and Prosecutors in the Republic of Albania”, as amended”, based on Decision No. 818, dated 4.12.2025 of the High Judicial Council, “On the proposal for appointment to the High Court of the candidate Mr. Genti Shala” for the vacant position in the field of criminal law, announced by Decision No. 178, dated 11.5.2022 of the High Judicial Council,

I DECREE:

Article 1

Mr. Genti Shala is appointed Judge of the Supreme Court from among the judges.

Article 2

This decree comes into effect immediately. /CNA
