Barometer at Euronews Albania

The US Embassy is the most trusted institution (52.6%) by Albanians.

The barometer in Euronews Albania asked the Albanians about the trust they have in various institutions of the country.

The results show that internationals are the ones who enjoy the most trust among citizens. Half of Albanians (50.2%) trust the European Union delegation in Albania.

More than two in five Albanians (45.3%) have expressed confidence in the entire international community operating in Albania.

Regarding state institutions, for Albanians the most trusted among them is the government (34.6%), followed by the police (33.7%) and the army (30.1%).

The media do not enjoy high trust among Albanians. Less than one in five Albanians trust traditional media (18.9%), online media (13.2%) or information disseminated on social networks (11%).

Among state institutions, the one who enjoys the least trust among citizens is the President of the Republic (2.2%) and Political Parties (3.1%).

The findings are from the Barometer survey in Euronews Albania, conducted by MRB and DataCentrum at the national level with 1000 face-to-face interviews in the family, between May 23 - June 4./euronews
