The head of the DP, Sali Berisha, on his 78th birthday, shared his bitter experience on the Tik Tok social network as well as two messages for young people.

Berisha says that his bitterest experience was the belief that he and his peers had formed during the dictatorship, that things would never change.

The chairman of the Democratic Party, confesses that from the conversation with the young people, he finds that the conviction that he had in his youth in those years, exists even today among the young people who want to leave Albania.

Ndër të tjera, Berisha përcjell mesazhin dhe iu sugjeron dy gjëra të rinjve sot, të mos pushojnë së ëndërruari dhe ta duan Shqipërinë.

“Të dashur miqtë e mi të rinj të Tik Tokut

Sot jam 78 vjeç. Nga kjo vjeshtë e bukur e jetës sime dëshiroj tu dërgoj një mesazh të gjithëve ju. Në moshën tuaj, unë dhe bashkëmoshatarët e mi kishim shumë ëndrra por ao nuk mund t’i realizonim sepse jetonim të shtypur në një dikatturë të egër komuniste.

Eksperienca më e hdihur për mua e atyre viteve ishte bindja e krijuar tek ne se gjërat nuk do të ndryshonin kurrë.

Nga biseda të shumta që kam patur këto vite me të rinjtë konstatoj që kjo bindje ekziston dhe tek ata dhe me të drjetë shumë prej tyre kërkojnë të largohen nga Shqipëria.

I want to suggest two things that have helped me during my youth to overcome difficulties and to you today.

First, never stop dreaming.

Second, love Albania.

If you do the first, you will always have the spirit to do anything.

If you do the second, your strength will multiply and you will overcome any obstacles and difficulties.

You with your strength, passion, energy, wisdom will write these dreams into the most beautiful reality of your life and our society.
