Belinda Balluku appeals to the Supreme Court/ Requests the annulment of the measure for suspension from duty

Former Deputy Prime Minister and former Minister of Infrastructure, Belinda Balluku, has appealed to the Supreme Court, requesting the repeal of the suspension measure.

This measure was imposed at the request of SPAK and was previously confirmed by the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime, as well as by other levels of the judiciary.

The appeal was recently filed and the Supreme Court is expected to review the request and issue the relevant decision.

Balluku was indicted in October 2025 for violating equality in tenders, in connection with the Llogara Tunnel procedures.

While in November 2025, she was also taken under investigation for suspected violations in the 7 lots of the Grand Ring Road, and she was also suspended from duty./ CNA
