Former President Bamir Topi has expressed his opinion regarding the question of whether the head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, may have been involved in Russian financing.

Invited to the show "Breaking", Topi said that he was always of the opinion that they were together in every decision-making, since Basha could not do without Berisha. But he says he cannot say whether this is the case for Russian financing.

"When those who were there don't know, how can I know? I don't go to accusations when I don't have facts. I have never accused by making deductions. But I have always been of the opinion that they were together in every decision-making. The first was Mr. Berisha who produced Basha and the second, Basha couldn't do without Berisha. I don't know if this is the case for Russian funding," said Topi./ CNA.al
