Barometer/Registration of overseas voters by districts

According to Barometer data on the registration of voters from abroad by region, the largest region, Tirana, leads in percentage with 23.4% of applicants, followed by Fier with 17.4% and Korça with 10.7%.

The regions with the lowest percentage of applicants are also the smallest regions, Gjirokastra 2.8% and Kukës 1.5%.

Compared to the percentage of citizens with the right to vote (inside and outside Albania) for each region with applicants for the region by January 15, 2025, it appears that the highest rate of registrations is in the Fier region and the lowest rate is in the Elbasan region.

Specifically, Fier has 17.4% of registered voters from abroad, while the share of citizens with the right to vote in this region is 11.43%. Regarding the Elbasan region, 6.4% of registered voters from abroad are in this region, while the share of citizens with the right to vote in this region is approximately 10%.
