Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke about Queen Elizabeth, who was escorted to her last residence today.

In his interview for "Wake Up America", he recalled a moment from 2019, when Rama, together with other NATO leaders, was at the reception organized in Buckingham, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Alliance .

Rama said that the other leaders were justifiably nervous, because they were going to meet and talk to the Queen, but this was not his case.

"It was a big reception at Buckingham Palace, it was unforgettable for me and for everyone. I can't say it better than the French president: To the British she was their queen, to us she was the Queen. While the British have a new king, we no longer have a Queen. Other leaders should have been nervous because they were going to meet him, it was not my case," said Rama. /CNA.al
