Alimehmeti "explodes" at the police chiefs: Men who take orders from Veliaj

Protests continue in front of Tirana City Hall. Citizens appear determined and angry with Mayor Veliaj and demand his removal at all costs. 

In his speech at the protest, Ilir Alimehmeti stated that it is absurd that the police chiefs receive orders from Erion Veliaj, since he does not allow the members of the Municipal Council to enter the Municipality institution. Alimehmeti called the police chiefs cowards. 

"They are not state police. Those police chiefs who take those orders, they are not like us. This is the municipality of crime. The month of April is flying by, and there is no greater urgency with what has happened in this municipality. This is their bravery, they are not like us", said Ilir Alimehmeti./ CNA
