The National Authority for Cyber ??Security, in cooperation with the National Agency of the Information Society and several other public institutions, has coordinated and provided a contribution to the preliminary technical and scientific analysis for the undertaking of the decision to close Tik Tok in Albania.
AKSK informs that the steps towards implementation include the initiation of the technical-legal process, to block the Tik-Tok platform on a large scale at the national level, with a duration of approximately 1 year.
AKSK will continue to be an essential part of the implementation process, providing its expertise to ensure the successful implementation of this goal.
We recall that Prime Minister Edi Rama announced the decision to close Tik Tok the day before, where he stated that after 1,300 meetings and surveys, over 90% of parents asked for the platform to be blocked./ CNA
