The US Embassy in Tirana has published the statement of support for the SPAK of the US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for the Western Balkans, Alexander Kasanof.

The latter, in an interview for the Voice of America, said that SPAK has shown that no one is above the law.

Kasanof stated that the cases pursued by SPAK will reach wherever the evidence leads.

Meanwhile, the embassy has distributed the statement, where the US deputy assistant secretary emphasized that:

"It should be noted that in my public and private meetings, I spoke about the importance of the rule of law and that no man or woman is above the law and that the cases pursued by SPAK will reach wherever the evidence leads...".

Kasanof also requested continued support for the Special Prosecutor's Office, due to the challenges faced by this institution./ CNA
