International Day of the Arabic Language/ The agreement with Albania is signed

On the International Day of the Arabic Language, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Tirana organized a grand event, bringing together politicians, intellectuals, lecturers, students, representatives of the Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Tirana. This event was held in the Geraldine Hall of the Plaza Hotel and welcomed over 200 guests from various fields.

One of the main achievements of the event was the signing of a cooperation agreement between the prestigious Saudi Publishing Agency "Kalimat" and the International Institute of Studies in Albania, directed by Mr. Albert Rakipi and Mrs. Delal Nasrallah. This agreement marks an important step in promoting cultural cooperation between the two countries, aiming to promote Arabic literature and culture in Albania.

The event was also enriched by the promotion of the first book of the well-known Saudi novelist, Yusuf Almuhaimid, a creation that reflects the beauty of the Arabic language and culture. In his speech, the author thanked the organizers and emphasized the importance of cultural communication through literature.

At the event, the representative of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mr. Muteb Elharithi, gave an inspiring speech. He emphasized the importance of the Arabic language as a bridge of communication between cultures and underlined the Kingdom's commitment to promoting intercultural dialogue and cultural exchanges. Mr. Elharithi also praised the agreement with the "Kalimat" Agency as a historic step towards the rapprochement of the two countries and the promotion of the Arabic linguistic heritage in Albania.

Taking the floor, Dr. Arben Ramkaj, head of the Institute for Intercultural and Interreligious Dialogue, emphasized the importance of the book as the most important bridge between peoples. He called the book "the one universal language understood by all," praising its power to create connections between cultures and strengthen global understanding.

The event ended with a reception where participants had the opportunity to discuss new projects and explore other ways to strengthen cultural relations between Albania and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
