Pensioners told CNA that the end-of-year bonus only covered medicine costs.
"We took medicine because we had no more to take, we threw away this time with the bonus, for the New Year they don't come out, what are we going to buy with 100 thousand ALL, what are they. 30,000 Lek is a kilogram of roasted meat", claims a pensioner.
Left alone, the pensioners in Gjirokastër already have their eyes on the children in emigration.
