Accident on the Tirana-Durrës highway/ Here is the condition of the injured

The Ministry of Health has provided updated information on the health condition of those injured in yesterday's accident on the Tirana-Durres highway. 

In the announcement, the ministry says that 5 patients have been discharged from the hospital and another is expected to be discharged today.

An injured Vietnamese national is in serious condition due to her injuries and is in intensive care.

As for the two minors, one is out of danger, while the other continues to be in Trauma Resuscitation.

 

 

NOTICE

The University Trauma Hospital announces that the SUT multidisciplinary team has been on standby and has been dynamically monitoring the patients involved in the accident that occurred on the Tirana-Durres highway.

5 patients, who appeared conscious and more stabilized yesterday, after medical treatment according to the relevant protocols, have been discharged from the hospital out of danger to their lives, on the advice of their doctor.

It is also expected that another patient will leave the hospital during the day, out of danger to his life and on the advice of doctors.

The 8-year-old minor is in the SUT Intensive Care Unit, with stable vital parameters.

Also in the Intensive Care Unit is a 56-year-old Vietnamese citizen with Czech citizenship, who is under intensive monitoring. She is reported to have stable vital signs, but is in serious condition due to the multiple injuries she sustained.

The 14-year-old child is out of danger, in the ward, under the care of medical staff, with injuries to his lower limbs.

As for the patients who are still under observation in the Emergency Department and who have undergone surgical interventions, their health condition is stabilized and they will continue to remain under intensive monitoring. Among them is a 20-year-old Czech citizen of Vietnamese origin.
