"Destabilization like in '97"/ Security expert clarifies the

Criminalistics expert, Ervin Karamuço, today conducted a detailed analysis of the elements that could jeopardize the security of citizens and the country from the 31-day protests.

Speaking on 'Euronews Albania', Karamuço stated that in security theories there are three stages of emergency that lead to mass gatherings, while highlighting the possibility of destabilization in the country.

According to the expert, such elements that exceed individual responsibility can lead to situations like those of 1997.  

"There are representatives of many categories there, even intellectuals and professors. The greatest concern is related to three moments of a protest. The first is the tension, which is also justified. The second is related to the escalation in clashes, which is individual responsibility, even in relation to the law. The third, which I do not forgive, is destabilization. These are the levels. I am not worried about the first two levels, but only about the third. Those who were born before '97 did not experience it. The rest of us do and we know the end, both how it started and how it turned out. We know it, feeling even under the tables so that no stray bullet would come. This is the red line", - said Karamuço ./CNA
