Developing communication towards neurodiversity/ Therapist Enkelejda Zelaj for CNA: Here are the best therapies for children

Therapist Enkelejda Zelaj was the guest of the latest episode of the podcast "Different, but Together" on CNA TV.

Focusing on a series of treatments offered today for the development of children who encounter aspects of neurodiversity, Zelaj highlighted some of them as the most effective for these ages.

According to the therapist, there is a fundamental difference between therapies, and he selected, among many others, play therapy, verbal communication, and individual therapy as the best scientific approaches to the communication and development of minors.

"I like both very much, but I would choose play therapy. Because through play we give the child the opportunity to develop communication, social skills, but also to structure behavior. So, play therapy has all the elements. I would choose verbal communication because Pexi is a system of exchange based on pictures towards verbal communication. But visual support is also very important.
