5.2 million passengers for 2022/ Belinda Balluku reveals the next target

The Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, today conducted an inspection at the "Mother Teresa" airport, where all measures have been taken to cope with the influx of passengers at the end of this year.

Ndër të tjera Balluku bëri me dije se kemi 5.5 milionë pasagjerë për vitin 2022, një numër ky i parashikuar vite më parë.

“Sivjet kemi arritur që të kemi terminalin e ri edhe tani që po inspektojmë edhe tek pjesa e sigurisë dhe tek gatet e daljes nuk shikojmë që të ketë as radhë as problematikë dhe kjo vjen për shkak të shtimit të kapaciteteve, pra nga ngritja e terminalit të ri dhe tek shtimi i pikave të kontrollit kufitar që janë bërë gjatë vitit 2022, që janë dy evente të shënuara për ta bërë procesin sa më fleksibël dhe pa probleme. Ndërkohë kemi 5.2 milionë pasagjerë për 2022”, është shprehur Balluku.

Balluku ka nënvizuar se një nga objektivat e ardhshme, është që tu jepet mundësi pasagjerëve që të mos detyrohen të kontrollohen dhe në pika tëtjera kontrolli në aeroportet europiane.

Për ta bërë këtë, Balluku thotë se duhet të një investim nga ana e koncensionarit serioz dhe i fuqishëm në fushën e sigurisë.
