Peleshi reveals the plans / Projects that will 'culminate' in 2023

The Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi, has commented and analyzed the work done throughout 2022.

Peleshi stated that during this year the changes were visible, starting with the increase in the salaries of the effectives by 30%, from the basic soldier to the highest ranks.

“Ky është viti kur ne bëmë një ndryshim sasior dhe cilësor në shpërblimin e FA. Kemi rritur 30% pagat për të gjithë efektivët, nga ushtari bazë dhe deri te gradat më të larta. Angazhimi dhe premtimi i Kryeministrit për të patur një rritje të vazhdueshme dhe të përvitshme deri sa të arrijmë nivelin më të lartë në rajon do të realizohet. Vitin që vjen do e rrisim edhe 7 % të tjera pagën mbi atë 30% që u rrit gjatë vitit 2022”, u shpreh ministri Peleshi.

Ndër të tjera përmendi edhe objektivat për vitin 2023. Peleshi tha se, vitin e ardhshëm do të nisë puna për ndërtimin e korpusit të Akademisë së FA.

Gjithashtu deklaroi se flota e Forcës Ajrore do të shtohet edhe me helikopterë të tjerë “Black Hawk”, duke e çuar në 6 numrin e helikopterëve.

The Minister of Defense stated that a lot of progress has been made in the work on the construction of NATO's first tactical air base in Kuçovo, and it is expected that it will be ready in about a year. Another project of the Ministry of Defense for the coming year is the construction of a new military port in Porto Romano near the commercial port, which according to Minister Peleshi will give Albania an added strategic importance, since this port will be the gateway to the entry and deployment of allied forces from the Western Balkans to the East.
