Today marks 1 year since the issuance of 10-year non-immigrant visas for tourism and business for Albanian citizens.
According to the announcement by American Ambassador Yuri Kim, more than 22 thousand Albanians have received visas.
Kim said that if visa rules are respected, more citizens will be able to travel to the US.
"Today marks one year since the US Embassy started issuing 10-year non-immigrant visas for tourism and business to Albanian citizens. More than 22,000 Albanians have received visas since then - twice as many as any other year. Ambassador Kim delivered the visa to one of these applicants yesterday. She told a group of applicants that as long as visa rules are respected, more Albanians will have the opportunity to travel to the United States for vacations, visit friends and family, and establish business relationships," says Yuri Kim./ CNA.al
