OFFICIAL/ Dilemmas end, Daku signs with the famous club

Mirlind Daku has decided to renew his contract with Rubin Kazan, dismissing transfer rumours of a possible departure. The Albanian striker will remain at the Russian club until the summer of 2029. The club officially announced the renewal for the next four seasons, after the failure of his transfer to Zenit.

Talks to extend the contract began immediately after the break in negotiations with the St. Petersburg club. Daku became a key element for Rubin last season, scoring 15 goals in 26 matches. The renewal was presented through a creative video, inspired by the series "Squid Game".

In the video, Daku chooses the red card, Rubin's symbol, and rejects Zenit's offer. The club has met the striker's financial requirements, guaranteeing the continuation of the cooperation.
