OFFICIAL/ Inter announces four departures

Inter have confirmed the departure of four players, Yann Sommer, Francesco Acerbi, Stefan de Vrij and Matteo Darmian, after their contracts expired.

Sommer leaves after three seasons at Milan, where he made 100 appearances in Serie A and 139 in all competitions. The Swiss goalkeeper won two league titles, a Coppa Italia and a Supercoppa Italiana, while also playing in the 2024/25 Champions League final.

Acerbi ends the adventure that began in 2022 with 101 appearances in Serie A and 148 in total. The Italian defender won two championships, two Italian Cups and two Super Cups, as well as playing in two Champions League finals.

Matteo Darmian leaves after six seasons with 150 matches in Serie A and 218 in all competitions, winning three championship titles.

Meanwhile, Stefan de Vrij did not renew his contract and will continue his career at Panathinaikos in Greece.
