Vllaznia played a friendly match against Kukës, with the Shkodran team winning 4-3 in what was a kind of test before the start of the Albanian football championship. After the match, the red and blue team captain Bekim Balaj said that the bad taste of the drastic elimination from the Conference League still remains, but the players are already trying to get over that moment to focus on the first match of the season against the champions of Egnatia.

"On the eve of the start of the championship, these matches are important, especially for the players who have come to get minutes and spend time with the team. I think we played well, although we need to be more careful not to concede goals. It is a test that serves us well before the start of the championship. There is enthusiasm, there is desire and the competition has increased. The focus at the moment is on Egnatia, although we have previously played against Besa e Kavajës", said Balaj.

For his part, Kukës coach Sadat Pajaziti said that he will seek victory in every match in the First Category, knowing that reaching the Superior League remains difficult.

"The performance was good because we played against a Vllaznia team that has quality players because they come from European cups and have a much faster pace of play. But I am satisfied with my team because we are building a philosophy of play and what is important is the will and willingness to improve. We are preparing to win every match even though the championship can take us very far because there are good teams, but with confidence we will be at the top," said Pajaziti.  

In the friendly match between Vllaznia and Kukës, there was a power outage at the "Loro Boriçi" stadium in the 84th minute, which interrupted the match for several minutes until the power was restored and the match resumed normally, ending 4-3 for the red and blue. /CNA
