Dinamo and Drita defeated by upset, Egnatia and Balkan close to qualification

Four Albanian teams played their matches in Europe.

Egnatia drew 0-0 in the first match against Olimpija, valid for the third qualifying round of the Conference League.

The first half was balanced for both teams, who attempted several times to score, but could not finish. Even in the second half, the goals remained untouched by both Rrogozhina and Olimpija. The Slovenians also missed a penalty in the 68th minute, with Tam making a mistake and sending the ball out.

Egnatia ended the match with 10 players, after Fangaj was sent off.

The second match between the two teams will be played on August 14 at the 'Arena Egnatia'.

Dinamo was defeated 2-1 in a reverse fixture in Croatia against Hajduk Split.

Dinamo took the lead first with Dejvi Bregu, who scored a Eurogoal in the 36th minute. The first half ended with a 0-1 lead for the team led by Ilir Daja.

The home team found the equalizer early in the second half, through 17-year-old Durdov. Hajduk overturned the score with Bamba in the 64th minute. Despite the chances, the score did not change.

The return match between Dinamo City and Hajduk Split will be played on August 14 at the 'Air Albania' stadium in Tirana.

Balkan got a big win over Shamrock Rovers at home, with a score of 1-0.

Drita was defeated by FCSB in a landslide. From a 0-2 advantage, the Kosovo champions were defeated 3-2 in the third round of the Europa League.
