Ter Stegen reacts after tension: I'm ready for a solution

In response to the latest developments, the goalkeeper reacted publicly through a lengthy statement on social media. The German stressed that the decision to undergo surgery was made in consultation with specialist doctors and with the full approval of the club. The aim, he said, was solely to preserve his health and long-term career, while always remaining committed to the team.

Ter Stegen also denied speculation that the intervention was carried out to free up financial space for the registration of new players.

The German underlined that throughout his career he has behaved with professionalism and respect towards the club he represents. He stated that his love for Barcelona, the city and the fans remains strong, while expressing his willingness to cooperate with the management to resolve the situation in a calm and constructive manner.

"The last few months have been particularly difficult for me, both physically and personally. Like any footballer, after an injury, my only priority was to get back on the pitch as soon as possible, guided only by the desire to help the team and do what I love most. Playing."

A lot has been said about me in recent weeks, some of which is completely unfounded. That is why I feel it is necessary to respectfully, but also clearly, express my version of events.

The decision to undergo surgery was taken after consultation with medical experts and was fully approved by the club, with the sole aim of protecting my health and my long-term football career, objectives that are fully in line with those of Barcelona. My aim was and remains to return as soon as possible so that we can continue competing for titles. I also publicly announced the minimum recovery period, which was communicated to me by leading experts, always in collaboration with the club.

I would also like to clarify – due to some rumors – that all transfers and contract renewals at the club had been completed before my intervention. Therefore, I have never considered my difficult situation or intervention necessary to register other teammates of mine, whom I deeply respect and look forward to continuing to share the same dressing room for many more years. Any other interpretation seems unfair and incorrect to me.

Throughout my career, I have strived to act with professionalism, respect and dedication to the shirts I represent. I have a deep love for Barcelona, the city and its people who have supported me for so many years. My commitment to these colors remains unwavering.

"I understand that difficult times can create tensions, but I believe that through dialogue and responsibility we can resolve the situation constructively. I am fully available to work with the club's management to resolve the issue and provide the necessary approval," Ter Stegen wrote in his response.
