Two clubs behind Donnarumma, Bayern sees him as Neuer's successor

Paris Saint-Germain are set to make some important changes in goalkeeping. The French club are close to finalising the signing of Lucas Chevalier from Lille. This development directly affects Gianluigi Donnarumma's position, who for the first time since arriving in Paris sees himself being pushed towards a departure.

Donnarumma, who joined PSG on a free transfer from Milan in 2021, replaced Keylor Navas at the time, despite the Costa Rican goalkeeper having performed well. Now, it is the Italian himself who finds himself in a similar situation. Although he made crucial saves and made an important contribution to the team during the second half of last season, economic and technical-tactical factors have influenced the club's decision.

According to reports from "Sport Mediaset", Manchester City is the club most interested in his services.

Another club seen as a potential contender is Bayern Munich. The German club is considering a successor to Manuel Neuer and Donnarumma is seen as an alternative with international size and experience.
