Before that, an incident was recorded with Polish fans who desecrated the bust of Gjergj Kastriot Skanderbeg in Tirana. This action brought an immediate reaction from Albanian fans.

The groups "Tirona Fanatics" and "Ultras Guerrils" took to the streets of the capital to confront opposing fans. In footage shared on social media, they are seen hitting Polish fans and attacking their bus.

For this reason, three people have been arrested, while two others have been prosecuted at large.

"The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Police Commissariat No. 7, in cooperation with the services of the Special Force Sector "Eagle", arrested in flagrante delicto citizens AM, 32 years old, KS, 29 years old and Sh. S., 30 years old, and referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office where criminal proceedings were initiated against 2 minor citizens, 17 years old," the police announced.
