Agreement reached, striker leaves United for Chelsea

Another departure for Manchester United. After the Europa League final defeat to Tottenham, relations between Alejandro Garnacho and coach Ruben Amorim became strained, after the player criticized technical decisions.

As a result, the club decided to put him up for sale, including him on the same list as Rashford and Sancho. Chelsea showed immediate interest in the Argentine striker, negotiating a price reduction. Manchester United initially demanded £70 million, but as the weeks passed, the offer was reduced.

The parties have reached an agreement for a fee of around €46 million plus 10% from a future sale. Garnacho has agreed personal terms with the Londoners and the transfer is close to being finalized.

This would be one of the biggest sales in United's history, behind Ronaldo, Lukaku and Di Maria. His move is expected to be completed in the coming days, making him part of Enzo Maresca's squad.
