Scoring a goal with a backhand is not so simple and rarely are those who send the ball to the destination with the technical gesture that is among the most difficult. So what the Englishman Fredi Tomer has done is really to be singled out, not only for the fact that he gave his team a draw in extra time.

Tomer is actually a goalkeeper who plays with the Hong Kong Football Club in the Hong Kong Championship. He clearly has a profession to keep the ball away from the net, not to attempt such things.

But in the match against Resources Capital FC, he decided to go ahead in extra time to try for an equalizer as his team was at a disadvantage. This was the right decision for Tomer, who managed to score the equalizing goal in the 6th extra minute with a backhand that would make even an attacker jealous.
