Third place for Erkand Qerimaj, the Shkodran weightlifter shines in the European championship

Erkand Qerimaj is competing in the European Weightlifting Championship taking place in Yerevan, Armenia. The Shkodran weightlifter was the first Albanian to climb the platform, competing in Battery B for the weight of 73 kilograms.

Qerimaj started the competition with 145 kg, managing to lift it with the breakaway style. So even in the second test he did the same by lifting 150 kg. While in the third he failed with 152 kilograms.

The Albanian weightlifting champion closed this Battery temporarily in the first. While in the push style, he started with 168 kg, managing to successfully complete the first test. But in the second and third he failed, respectively with 173 and 174 kg. With 318 kg in both competitions, Qerimaj is temporarily ranked third. Meanwhile, tonight in the evening he will compete in Baterina A Briken Calja.
