What is happening with Michael Schumacher?/ The family is selling everything...

While the seven-time world champion remains in a coma, no one knows exactly what is going on and if Michael Schumacher is alive after all, they continue to make money in his name.

Everything related to this great athlete is sold, mainly by his family, but also by the teams he piloted. Now his favorite plane, his summer house in Norway and two other houses were sold by Corina Schumacher...

Cars owned by Schumacher command particularly high prices, most recently the Ferrari 2003-GA in which the great Michael Schumacher won the sixth of his 7 Formula 1 titles – the penultimate of 5 in a row – number 229 in Ferrari F1 records.

Then there's Michael Schumacher's golden age Ferrari, which will soon be auctioned off for a hefty price.

Forecasts speak of an amount that will exceed 7 million euros, although the specific car was a "spare".

With chassis number 198, the Ferrari car proved its worth when it needed to, as it took Michael Schumacher to task for these feats. It was the race at Interlagos in Brazil when Schumi had a walk in qualifying and of necessity, he used it to start (from third place) in the race. 2000 was the year when Ferrari's dominance was just beginning and the win was just a harbinger of things to come.

The car with its advanced aerodynamics and redesigned V10 engine with a restrained angle of 90 degrees, offered the pilot a power level of 800 horsepower, allowing to go up to 17,300 revolutions. This is also one of the main reasons that for many fans of motorsport, that period was the best for Formula 1 - when the "climbing" had not prevailed and cigarettes were widely advertised in cars and beyond.

The car, chassis number 198, reappeared in Catalonia for the Spanish GP on 7 May 2000 and with it Schumacher managed to take his first pole position of the season. The last time the 198 was in action with Schumacher was at the A1-Ring in Austria, where contact with another car resulted in Schumacher's retirement.

The car returned to Maranello, where it underwent a complete rebuild, to be presented to the public in March 2001, at the Geneva Motor Show. There the first private owner saw it and fell in love with it, to be followed by three others who only enjoyed it at Ferrari track events. Its racing history and the name of the pilot in whose hands it shined are expected to make the purchase price much higher than anticipated.

Bidding closes on April 12 with RM Sotheby's responsible for predicting that the amount it will reach is under 10 million euros. It is worth remembering that Schumacher's F2003-GA, which was auctioned last year, became the most expensive in the history of the genre after changing hands for 13.6 million euros.
