It happens for the first time! The AFL gives the golden opportunity to Albanians in the USA

The Albanian Football Federation will organize for the first time a selection of young Albanian football players who live in the United States of America. The selection will take place on May 20 and 21, 2023 in the New York area and is open to all players, boys and girls, who want to prove themselves in the red and black jersey.

The Department of National Teams in the AFL has been working for several months to collect data and compile lists of football players who want to participate in this selection, which takes place for the first time in North America, where there is a large community Albanians. Present at this activity, in addition to the representatives of the Department of National Teams and scouts of the AFL, there will also be members of the staff of the national teams.

On this occasion, all those interested are invited to apply to be part of this experience as the registration period will be open for a few more days. Selections are focused on players born in 2005-2006-2007-2008-2009, while applications are also open to female footballers, without age restrictions.

To participate in the selection, those interested must send some data via the e-mail address: [email protected], specifying the following information:

- Name Surname

- Date of birth

– Position on the field

– The team where it is activated

– Player's personal contact (phone number)

– The player's personal e-mail address

– The correct e-mail address of the club

– The club's official website

The applications and data that will come by e-mail will be collected and analyzed by the scouts of the Albanian Football Federation in the USA together with the technical staff of the AFL and then the players selected to be part of these selections will are notified by the Department of National Teams for the details of this organization.

The initiative of the AFL comes as a result of the requests of the Albanian community in the USA and the increase in the number of prospective players living there, boys and girls, who want to try the chances of playing with the national teams of Albania. The aim of this selection is to create a clearer idea of ??the elements to be kept under observation and with the aim of bringing young players closer to the national age teams.
