Nagelsmann starts contacts with the Premier League club, the deal is ready

Julian Nagelsmann remains top of the list to take charge of Chelsea in the summer. According to British media reports, the German coach met on Thursday with leaders of the "blues" of London.

Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart, Chelsea's sporting directors, held the first face-to-face talks with Nagelsmann.

Nagelsmann is also believed to be interested in the long-awaited vacancy at Real Madrid this summer, while PSG could also be looking for a new coach at the end of the season and Nagelsmann is a name well-liked by the Parisians.

However, should the former Bayern man fail, Chelsea also rate Vincent Kompany, who guided Burnley back to the Premier League, and Palmeiras Portuguese boss Abel Ferreira.
