Left Real Madrid, Modric gets ready for a new adventure. The next team is revealed

Luka Modric has officially announced his departure from Real Madrid after more than 10 years at the club. The 39-year-old midfielder looks set to leave the club soon and is expected to join Inter Miami in the United States.

According to reports, the deal will be finalized after the end of the Club World Cup, when his contract with Madrid ends.

Inter Miami have been tracking Modric for some time and the move has been backed by Lionel Messi. The new contract will be for one season, with an option to extend for another year. The Croatian is expected to earn around $2.5 million per year.

Modric has had a less prominent role on the pitch under Ancelotti this season. A move to Inter Miami would put him in a project with some of football's biggest names such as Messi, Busquets, Suárez and Alba.
