Euro U-17 in Albania/ England and Belgium share points, spectacle in Rrogozhina

This Tuesday, the first match in Group B of the Euro U-17, which is being held in Albania, was played. England and Belgium faced each other at the “Egnatia Arena” stadium in Rrogozhina, with the match ending in a 1-1 draw.

England started the match better at the Egnatia Arna Stadium and took the lead in the 12th minute with a goal from Alejandro Gomes. The first half ended with the score 1-0 for the Three Lions.

In the second half, Belgium reacted and tied the score in the 49th minute with a Eurogoal from Noah Fernandez's penalty kick.

Belgium came close to breaking the deadlock on several occasions, but failed to score again. England also created good chances, but neither team could find the back of the net in the remaining minutes and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

England's next match will be against Italy on May 23, at the "Egnatia Arena", at 8:30 PM.

Meanwhile, Belgium will face the Czech Republic on May 23, at the "Niko Dovana" stadium, at 6:00 PM.
