Euro U-17/ Portugal very strong, Albania loses with a deep score

The U-17 Euro has started with a defeat for Albania. The Red and Blacks, led by Andrea Tedesco, were defeated by a deep score of 4-0 by Portugal in the opening match at the “Arena Kombëtare”.

The Lusitanians were dominant throughout, confirming themselves as contenders for winning the trophy.

Quintas opened the scoring in the 36th minute, ending the first half. In the second half, the Portuguese scored three more times through Mide, Cabral and Soares, to seal the score at 0-4.

Albania is part of Group A, which, in addition to Portugal, also includes France and Germany.

The U-17 Euro is held in Albania and is organized by the Albanian Football Association (AFCHA) in four stadiums: "Arena Kombëtare", "Elbasan Arena", "Egnatia Arena" and "Niko Dovana".
