The deal is reached, Aleks's future is decided. Only the signature is missing

Egnatia is on the verge of renewing the contract with midfielder Albano Aleksi. The parties have reached a preliminary agreement to extend the cooperation for another season.

Earlier, talks had stalled over financial terms, but it seems a consensus has been found. The player is currently on holiday abroad and the signing is expected to take place upon his return.

Aleksi has been a key part of the team in the last two seasons, a period in which Egnatia won all possible trophies in Albanian football.

In the last season, he also held the captain's armband. The end of his contract had sparked interest from other teams. However, Aleksi is expected to continue to be part of the Albanian champions.
