The famous team wins the title 5 weeks before the end, the champion is decided in the Netherlands

PSV Eindhoven has been declared Eredivisie champion for the 2025/2026 season, winning its third consecutive title and 27th in history.

The title was secured after Feyenoord's 0-0 draw with Volendam closed the gap to 17 points with five weeks of the season remaining. PSV had taken a big step forward the day before, winning 4-3 at Utrecht.

Peter Bosz's team dominated the season, winning 15 of their first 17 games. A run of 13 consecutive wins between September and January gave them a significant advantage.

PSV beat Feyenoord 3-0 on 1 February, strengthening their lead at the top. Despite suffering a few late losses, including a 3-2 defeat to NEC on 14 March, the title was secured at the third attempt.

This is the third consecutive title for PSV, a feat last achieved by Ajax in the period 2019-2022.
