Albania-England, Silvinjo sends the two starters to the stands

Albania will close its qualifying campaign for the 2026 World Cup in Group K today, before focusing on the play-off semi-final.

The Reds will face England at the "Air Albania" stadium, starting at 18:00. Coach Silvinjo has decided that Juljan Shehu and Mario Mitaj will be in the stands for this match.

The decision is related to UEFA regulations that only allow 23 players from the 25 initially selected. Klimt Cake and Adrion Pajaziti, who remained in the stands against Andorra, will be available to the technical staff this time.

Five national team players risk suspension if they receive a punishment against England. Mitaj and Shehu were part of this list, while Rei Manaj, Arlind Ajeti and Nedim Bajrami remain at risk.
