A UEFA delegation arrived in Tirana this week to conduct another inspection visit to our country within the framework of the finals of the 2025 European Championship for the U-17 age group. It has already been decided that the final stage matches will be played in the four Albanian stadiums, "Air Albania", "Elbasan Arena", "Arena Egnatia" and "Niko Dovana".

Just like in the first visit, where the sports grounds, stadiums and hotels were inspected, in this visit as well, the UEFFA delegation, accompanied by representatives of the AFL, conducted a tour in the cities of Durrës, Tirana, Rrogozhina, Elbasan, Lushnje, Fushë-Kruja and Shkumbin.

The UEFA inspectors specifically stopped to visit the training fields where the finalist teams will train: "Tofik Jashari", "Sol", "Redi Maloku", "House of Football", "Selman Stermasi", "Halili Complex". "Roza Haxhiu", the annex of the "Roza Haxhiu" stadium, Luz stadium and Shkumbin stadium. Furthermore, the delegation also visited the four stadiums that will host the U-17 European finals: "Air Albania", "Niko Dovana", "Elbasan Arena" and "Egnatia" Arena.

The UEFA working group has also brought a report on additional investments in the infrastructure of stadiums and especially training fields, where a close cooperation between the AFL, the central and local governments is expected.

At the end of October, UEFA will also bring an expert of the training grounds, who, together with the AFL field specialist, will visit these grounds again and see the state of the fields. The UEFA expert will then prepare a report and a plan on how to maintain the training grounds so that they are in the most perfect condition throughout the tournament.
