Futbollisti, i cili për të fituar më shumë pata punonte si shofer i Uberit, është zënë në pritë nga dy kriminelë. Rezistenca i ka kushtuar shtrenjtë Potarskit, pasi e kanë qëlluar më mëshirë me plumb në kokë.

Mbrojtësi i Berazateguit është dërguar menjëherë në spital, por mjekët nuk mund të bënin asgjë për t’i shpëtuar jetën.

Policia hapi ka nisur hetimet për kapjen e kriminelëve dhe në vendin e krimit, shumë pranë makinës së lojtarit, gjeti një gëzhojë të kalibrit 9 milimetër.

Federico Potarski iu bashkua Berazateguit janarin e kaluar pasi luajti te Almirante Brown dhe Liniers.
