One at Hoffenheim and the other at Duisburg, football players: We want to play with Albania

The U-19 national team concluded this Wednesday the 3-day gathering with 23 players born in 2005, with most of them active outside Albania. The technical staff led by coach Armando Cungu has been working for three days in a row, testing all the footballers either in training or in the friendlies organized within the group.

In this group there are many talented elements who are active with well-known clubs abroad and who have shown the desire to become part of the Albanian national teams in the future. The atmosphere has been consistently very positive in the build-up with the boys giving their all on the pitch to show their worth.

Two of the young players, Adijat Seferi and David Zogu, have also given their impressions of this experience in their statements for Fshf.org, clearly showing their intentions for the future. Both are strikers and are active with Hoffenheim and MSV Duisburg in Germany. Both Seferi and Zogu aim to be important players in the national red and black teams in the future.

Adijat Seferi – “Unë quhem Adijat Seferi, luaj në Gjermani me Hoffenheim dhe jam 18 vjeç. Luaj në pozicionin e sulmuesit. Kur mora ftesën për të marrë pjesë në këtë grumbullim të Kombëtares, sigurisht u gëzova shumë. Ishte babi im ai që më lajmëroi dhe u lumturova shumë.

Atmosfera është shumë pozitive këtu, të gjithë na kanë pritur shumë mirë dhe stafi teknik është shumë serioz dhe profesionist. Ky grup vërtetë ka shumë elementë cilësorë në përbërje, lojtarë të talentuar. Synimi im është që të jem pjesë e Kombëtares U-19 fillimisht e më pas të arrij deri në Kombëtaren A. Uroj shumë që ta bind stafin teknik që të jem sërish pjesë e kësaj kombëtareje”.

David Zogu - "I'm David Zogu, I'm active as a striker for the German team MSV Duisburg, I'm 17 years old and I'm coming for the first time to the National Teams of Albania. I immediately noticed that the group of players we have here in the collection has a lot of talent and I think there are many players who have value to be part of the team in the future as well. I will give my best for the red and black jersey and show everyone my values. Normally, my first objective is to be part of the U-19 National Team and then to continue even higher. It is a great pleasure for me to wear the red and black jersey of Albania".
