With him in charge, Milan won 8 Scudettos, one Italian Cup, 7 Italian Super Cups, 5 Champions Leagues, 2 Intercontinental Cups, 5 UEFA Super Cups and one Club World Cup, a total of 29 official trophies in 31 years.

In 1994 he founded Forza Italia and won the political elections in March of that year, becoming Prime Minister. It is the first of three governments that he heads: It would be followed by taking power in the years 2001-2006 and 2008-2011.
