Partizani-Tirana match/ Police takes security measures, here are the blocked segments

For the Partizani-Tirana match, which will be played tomorrow, at the "Air Albania" stadium, the Tirana Police announces that it has drawn up a plan of measures for its success.

In a press release, the blue uniforms announce that the measures consist of a wide security perimeter and that several road axes will be blocked.

The road segments that will be blocked, from 16:00 until the end of the activity, are:

- "Lek Dukagjini" street, around the stadium, "Dervish Hima" street, "Gjergj Filipi" street, "Papa John Paul II" street, from the intersection with "Ismail Qemali" street to "Air Albania" stadium, "Dëshmorët e" boulevard Nation", from the Presidency to "Mother Teresa" square.

Fan routes will be as follows:

- Partizan fans will move from the intersection of "Muhamet Gjollesha" street with "Artan Lenja" street, along "Muhamet Gjollesha" street, "Sulejman Delvina" street, "Libri Universitar" after the Presidency, "Gjergj Filipi" street - the stadium ;

- The movement of Tirana fans will be from "Skënderbej" square, "Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard, "Bajram Curri" street, "Papa "Gjon Pali" street - the stadium.

In accordance with the plan of measures, fans will be checked before entering the stadium for illegal items (hard objects, water cans, umbrellas, metal keys or pyrotechnics, etc.). Each fan must be equipped with an identification document.

Tirana Police has drawn up a plan of measures to guarantee order and security before, during and after the football match between the "Partizani" and "Tirana" football teams, which will take place on 17.05.2023, at 18:30 , at the "Air Albania" stadium.

The measures taken by the Tirana Police consist not only in the premises of the stadium, but also in a wider perimeter outside it.

In this framework, there will be blockages of some road segments and routes defined for the movement of fans of the two teams.

The road segments that will be blocked, from 16:00 until the end of the activity, are:

- The movement of Tirana fans will be from "Skënderbej" square, "Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard, "Bajram Curri" street, "Papa "Gjon Pali" street - the stadium.

Policia do të garantojë dhe do të sigurojë lëvizjen e tifozëve përgjatë rrugëkalimeve të caktuara dhe nuk do të lejojë grumbullim apo kalim të tifozëve, jashtë itinerarit të caktuar.

Po në zbatim të planit të masave, do të ushtrohen kontrolle ndaj tifozëve, para hyrjes në stadium, për sende të kundërligjshme (sende të forta, bidonë uji, çadra, çelësa metalik apo lëndë piroteknike etj). Çdo tifoz duhet të jetë i pajisur me dokument identifikimi.

Nuk do të lejohen të futen në stadium shtetas pa dokument identifikimi, si dhe fëmijët nën moshën 16 vjeç, pa praninë e prindit apo kujdestarit (shoqëruar me dokument).

Tifozët duhet të kenë me vete dokument identifikimi ose në të kundërt nuk do të lejohet hyrja në ambientet e stadiumit.

The Tirana police ask for the understanding of the respective fans, for the implementation of the above obligations, as well as the understanding of the citizens to avoid the movement of vehicles in the above-mentioned road segments, at the specified times.
