Former Tirana player dies on the field

A serious incident was recorded in the Serbian football championship, during the match between Mladost and Radni?ki.

Radnicki coach Mladen Zizovic has died after collapsing on the pitch. The episode occurred in the 20th minute of the match, when the 44-year-old suddenly collapsed near his bench.

The medical staff intervened immediately and the coach was transported by ambulance to the hospital. The match initially continued, but was finally stopped shortly before the end of the first half, after the news of Zizovic's death was confirmed.

He had a long career as a footballer in the Balkan championship and was a well-known figure in Albania. During the 2010-2011 season, he was part of Tirana, where he played 17 matches and scored one goal.
