Armando Broja played his first game as a starter for Everton this season. However, the debut did not go so well, because the team of the Albanian attacker was defeated by Nottingham. 

After the match, Broja appeared happy to play from the start, but not for the result. 

He said that he has improved, adding that he has never been nervous. 

"We had some good performances in the transfer, playing tough opponents and came home looking for more. I'm sure we had possession but it was a tough game. They kicked the long ball a lot of times and winning the second ball a lot of times or things like that, they started counter attacks that way. Like I said, it was a tough game, but we obviously wanted more, so we have to fight back.

For me, in every match, I want to do my best. I want to help the team in the best way I can, with goals, assists or holding the ball, running behind the back, in the corridors, holding the ball, creating something.

I always want to show something. Today I can't say it was one of my best matches, but I've definitely improved. It was an unpleasant afternoon for all of us. However, of course I want to give it my all and do better.

For me, on the plus side, it was a special day as it had been a very, very long time since I started a Premier League game. It's been an annoying period with injuries and things like that, but I'm happy to be back and secure the first game as a starter. I would have loved to have won the game and it would have been different, but we have to respond in the future. However, I am very happy with the fact that I was the starter.

I've always been a confident guy, so I don't think I've ever been nervous in a game. I was just concentrating and trying to focus on the game. Maybe it could have gone a little differently, but as far as I'm concerned, I was just focusing on myself," Broja told reporters after the match.
