"I bark, but I don't eat you", Spalletti is strict: There is no more 'Playstation' for footballers

Italy coach Luciano Spalletti has warned his players before friendly matches that he will be very strict in his demands.

In a statement made recently to the media, he said that no one will be allowed to waste time with useless games like "Playstation", while he emphasized that his focus is work, values, professionalism, respect of the players for their role and others.

"Everything starts from there. This is the basis on which talent must be added. Values, pride, responsibility, are not words I use casually even if someone might have thought so... Some players must have thought that Spalletti 'barks but doesn't bite', on the contrary they are wrong and now there are some things that need made clear. From now on, leave the Playstations at home. I've seen things I don't like, but from now on there are no more games to postpone dinner, come to me to give them homework to do in the evening if the day is not enough.
