Theo Hernandez in the "orbit" of Bayern Munich

German club Bayern Munich have reportedly tagged Milan star Theo Hernadez as a possible successor to Alphonso Davies, who could leave in the summer transfer window.

Davies has been the subject of intense transfer speculation in recent months. Real Madrid are very interested in signing the 23-year-old left-back this summer, and he is considered to be their top target behind Kylian Mbappe.

Davies' situation at Bayern Munich is interesting. He is out of contract in 2025, so unless he signs a new deal before the end of the season, there is a good chance he will be available for a reduced cost this summer, something Real Madrid would be keen to take advantage of.

It now appears that Bayern are somewhat resigned to losing Davies, as they have begun lining up potential replacements for the Canadian international.

According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, one of them is Milan's Theo Hernandez, who previously played for Real Madrid between 2017 and 2019.

It remains to be seen if Real Madrid will sign their player this summer. Davies would be another key piece of the puzzle for Carlo Ancelotti's side, one that would solve a position that has caused problems in recent seasons.
