Albanian football infrastructure to improve significantly in early 2025

The year 2025 has started very well for the Albanian football infrastructure, with significant investments from the Football Federation. In the first two months of the year, two new fields were completed: one in the Parish of Shna Prendes in Juban, Shkodra, and the other in the annex of the “Skënderbeu” stadium in Korça. Also, the complete reconstruction of the “Egnatia Arena” stadium has been completed, where: a modern lighting system, a perimeter LED screen have been installed, as well as works have been carried out in the stands such as the installation of new benches and other infrastructural improvements.

Work continues at a rapid pace in several cities in the country to modernize football infrastructure. In the "House of Football" two new fields are being built, which will be added to the existing fields that serve for matches and training of national teams. Also, in Shtoj, Shkodra, a modern field with artificial grass is nearing completion.

Meanwhile, in Elbasan, work has begun on the reconstruction of a natural grass field at the "Shefqet Lamçja" sports complex, while in Gjirokastër, work is expected to begin on two new fields, following the complete reconstruction of the "Luftëtari" stadium field.

In the coming weeks, other infrastructure projects are expected to be implemented in several cities across the country, continuing the improvement and further development of conditions for Albanian football.
