Skënderbeu aims to qualify for the semi-finals of the Albanian Cup. After a 2-0 victory in the first leg, the team from Korçë will host Dinamo at home for the return leg.

The advantage of the first match gives the southeastern team the role of favorite, but coach Ernest Gjoka urges caution.

In his pre-match statement, Skënderbeu's coach highly praised the opponent, while saying that he wants the semifinals at all costs.

Gjoka said that the main focus is the championship, to avoid survival, but he also expects advancement in the Cup.

"The team has the qualities, despite the fact that the new arrivals need their time. The victory with Egnatia gives us oxygen and prepares us for the other matches. Cup matches are different. Despite being 0-2, we face a difficult team, with a coach who interprets the matches very well. We have our objectives and we want the semi-finals at all costs. The championship is our main focus, because Skënderbeu must get out of this bad vortex. In the situation we are in, why not seek qualification for the Cup."

The Skënderbeg coach also analyzed the difficult moment of the Korça team, emphasizing the psychological side of the players.

"I don't think the players don't want to give their best. Finding a team in last place is a big problem. The new arrivals haven't adapted to their full potential yet. I see seriousness and desire. We must keep Skënderbeu in the Super League at all costs. We think they are men, but they are still young."

The Skënderbeu-Dinamo match will be played on Wednesday, starting at 16:30.
