Infantino explodes against critics: Today I feel Arab, gay and immigrant

The president of FIFA, Gianni Infantino, raised his voice a few hours after the start of the World Cup in Qatar, during an inaugural press conference of the tournament, responding to criticism of the violation of human rights and discrimination:

"Today I feel Qatari, I feel Arab, I feel African, today I feel gay, today I feel disabled and an immigrant worker. What is currently happening is deeply unfair.

For what we Europeans have done in the last 3000 years we must apologize for the next 3000 years before we teach others moral lessons.

These moral teachings are simply hypocrisy," Infantino declared about the harsh allegations of working conditions for the construction of stadiums and infrastructure, with thousands of documented deaths, as well as the prohibitions dictated by the laws in force in Qatar.
